Never could I have imagined....
The love that I have for you.
Phinlynn celebrated a birthday last month.
She stepped firmly, although on her tiptoes...
into the life of a toddler.....
A baby no more....
and growing so fast.
She is the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen...
She is smart...
far beyond what should be...
She is spunky and ornery,
stubborn and tough.
She does things in her own time,
She is sure that she is the boss....
She came this close to smiling during her birthday shoot...
although, the picture below shows how the rest of the time was spent....
Beautiful.
Phin loves to be the center of attention, unless....she doesn't want to be.
So she greatly enjoyed her family celebrating her birthday...
the singing,
the oohs and ahhhs
She sang happy birthday to herself for about a week.
She pretends to be shy around those she does not know....
She loves care bears,
minions,
dirt and baby dolls.....
She can dance, sing and repeat anything she hears...
She is never more than a step behind her brothers....
She is scrappy...
she is dainty....
She likes her nails polished and her pigtails in place....
She smashes bugs with her fingers.....
but refuses to step on crumbs....
She would choose to eat chocolate over anything else....
She is her mother's daughter,
but just as much her daddy's...
She is the pride of her brothers...
and the jewel of our family.
If only time could slow down....
